The questions everyone asks first.
Is it a real Postgres?
Yes, the official Postgres image on a persistent volume, not a proxy or a fork. Connect with any Postgres client or driver.
How do my apps connect?
Put the database and your app Eggs in the same Coop and they reach each other privately by hostname. Ruust wires a DATABASE_URL into peered Eggs.
Can I resize it later?
Yes. Grow memory, vCPU and disk from the dashboard. If a disk grow outgrows its host, Ruust migrates the volume to a bigger one for you.
Can I bring existing data?
Import from any postgres:// URL (Railway, Supabase, Neon, RDS, self-hosted). The dump and restore run inside your Egg, so the data never leaves the host.
